Through My Lens: February

February felt like it was a lot longer than 28 days this year. At the same time, I can’t quite believe we are now in March. I am glad that spring is finally starting to show signs of coming to life. Already the snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils are coming out in force and there are signs of blossoms on the trees. I didn’t get out and about as much as I wanted to in February and much like January’s post, these photos are all from my walks around the local lake.

Much like January, there have been some lovely sunsets which have made up for the bare trees and lack of colour on my walks. The days are now notably longer and I no longer have to walk to the train station in the dark which I am very grateful for. With the longer days I can also feel my creativity and motivation slowly creeping back. Taking my camera out no longer feels like a chore, and I am now really enjoying capturing the little moments when I am out and about. I have even started thinking about taking some food photos again, so maybe March’s post will have more than nature photos. I am not committing to anything though and just going with the flow.

Until next time…
